Temperature checks are required upon entry as well as checking for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Each person is additionally asked about recent travel destinations and if they have come in contact with someone with a potential or confirmed case of COVID-19. Please do not visit if you do not feel well. Call activities to schedule a visit at 724-775-6400.
We are currently* offering the following types of visits:
*Please be advised that due to the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, our visitations may change at any time. We encourage family and friends to contact the Activities Department to discuss these options.
We are taking steps to increase safety and limit unnecessary exposure. Things like extra cleaning throughout our facilities, providing appropriate PPE for our staff, requiring everyone to use hand sanitizer and wear a mask upon entry, and social distancing are examples of the measures RM+V has implemented.
The number of positive COVID-19 residents noted below are recently diagnosed. When recommended quarantine requirements are completed and residents are covid-free, they are then removed from the list.
Any positive team members are quarantined during their infectious period, and any positive residents remain in our separate COVID19 isolation unit as our staff continues to follow infection control procedures above and beyond guidelines.
RM+V will continually assess the ability to permit various forms of visitation. During an outbreak, , RM+V will conduct outbreak testing and adjust visitation based on that during the 14 day period post positive(s) required by the PA Department of Health before resuming visits on yellow or red units. Additionally, RM+V must meet other requirements such as adequate staffing and testing to allow visits. Green units (no active COVID cases) may continue with indoor (central area) visits, outdoor visits etc. Compassionate care visits are permitted at all times as appropriate. RM+V will continue to follow CMS and other guidelines and allow increased visitation as appropriate.
